iMac Commander
The Commander wallpaper has been updated to match the bold colour palettes of the new 23.5” iMac.
I have received an incredibly positive reception on my Commander design, previously available in two wallpaper releases (Original & Spring Loaded) and a series of shirts through Cotton Bureau. I'm so proud of this design that I just had to release a collection of 14 light/dark wallpapers to compliment the bold colours of the new iMacs.
I've been in obsessed with the design of the new 23.5" M1 iMacs ever since they were announced! The folks at Apple showed a ton of passion crafting all the colour-matched design details into the iMac. At the same time, those working in Apple's production and inventory departments were probably beside themselves with the hundreds of possible variations that went into this product! It's been a long time since I last paid this much attention to desktop computers. Still, in 2021 the Mac feels as relevant as it ever has, and following the announcement of Apple Silicon, the place where I have the most anticipation for what we will see next from Apple.
There are seven sets of the new iMac Commander wallpaper, colour matched to each of the seven new iMac colours. The Light variant features a softer pastel background to match the infamous chin with a bold Commander logo, while the Dark variant flips the design, offering a bold background with a more muted Commander logo. There is also a dynamic wallpaper option that automatically changes from Light to Dark depending on the display mode of your computer.
