Year of the Tiger
The Year of the Tiger begins on February 01, 2022.
The Tiger, and those born under in its lunar year, personify bravery, strength, confidence and authority. A powerful sign that signifies both authority and capability in numerous domains. And after these past two years, we can look ahead that these traits can see us through 2022, emerging with both more hope and prosperity.
Apple has been celebrating the Chinese New Year across multiple Asian markets, hosting special events, giveaways, and exclusive products for many years. Last year, a special Year of the Ox pair of AirPods Pro was released featuring an exclusive Ox emoji engraved on the case. This year, Apple has again released a set of AirPods Pro with an engraving commemorating the Year of the Tiger. These products are available for a limited time and exclusively in select Asian markets where Chinese New Year is celebrated.
In honour of the New Year, I have created a series of wallpapers featuring the tiger emoji engraved on the AirPods case and the tiger/logo hybrid Apple also has on their site. The wallpapers have been made for iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, & iPad, with each design coming in a dazzling gold-foil on two stunning red backgrounds (Wave & Traditional).
