SF Symbols Wallpaper
Kinda like the Louis Vuitton monogram, but just with thousands of Apple symbols instead.
Another day-long Zoom meeting means another wallpaper, this time influenced by the design developed as part of the MKBHD ICONS x dbrand Collaboration. I loved the idea, though I wanted something just a wee-bit more Apple-inspired.
It was only during my recent write-up about the iPod shuffle that I discovered that Apple’s SF Symbols app contained a fair bit of Mac symbology - including everything from the AirPort Extreme to the Xserve - and decided to use them as the basis for this design. The finished product has a bevy of current and historic Apple products, including AirPods, Apple Watch, 3 different generations of the Mac Pro, several generations of the iPod shuffle, and a whole bunch more.
Each wallpaper is formatted to fit on displays up to 5K and is available as separate light & dark wallpapers, in addition to a dynamic (light/dark) wallpaper for macOS. I’ve also added both iPhone (including an additional OLED-friendly black) & iPad versions for download.
